Aubrey Peeples

Aubrey Peeples is an American actress and singer. She is best remembered for her portrayal of Layla Grant, in Nashville (2012) drama as well as Claudia Shepard from Sharknado (2013). In addition, she was the lead character in the movie Jem and the Holograms, (2015). Aubrey Peeples was raised in Lake Mary, Florida by the mother and father Wendy Ashley and Wendy Ashley. There is also a younger sister, Ally. Aubrey was a performer with Orlando Repertory Theatre during her early years. Aubrey graduated from Lake Mary Preparatory School, where she delivered the valedictory for the 2012 class. Harvard University initially accepted her application, but later agreed to allow her in for an additional entry after she was chosen to play "Nashville". Peeples was a part of Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally And Ally and Ally (2011) Grey's Anatomy (2005) & NecessaryRoughness (1991) as guest star. She was in the made-for TV films Ace Ventura Jr.: Pet Detective (2009) and The Good Mother. She played Layla Grant, a major character from the Nashville second season drama. Peeples spoke about her bipolar disorder in an interview for NKD Magazine. Indiewire listed Peeples as one of the most popular actors aged under twenty years of age in September 2014.
